Homemade Aloe Vera Hair Oil Recipe
Ingredients
- 2–3 fresh aloe vera leaves
- 1 cup coconut oil or olive oil
- Optional: 1 teaspoon vitamin E oil
Preparation Method
- Wash the aloe vera leaves well and peel off the green skin.
- Cut the clear aloe gel into small pieces.
- Add the gel to a saucepan with the oil.
- Heat on very low flame for 10–15 minutes, stirring gently, until the aloe pieces turn dark.
- Turn off the heat and allow the oil to cool completely.
- Strain the oil using a fine strainer or cloth.
- Add vitamin E oil if desired.
- Pour into a clean glass bottle and store in a cool place.
How to Use
- Massage a small amount into the scalp for 5–10 minutes
- Leave on for at least 30 minutes or overnight
- Wash with a mild shampoo
